Brief Description
Good looking and fast car, the ultimate Q car.
I bought this car with the intention of restoring her to her former glory. The engine had been fully rebuilt and tuned slightly with polished, ported and larger valves.
Reliability
|
No problems in the time that the car was on the road. |

Performance
|
130 bhp from a 2.0 4 cylinder engine is still good by todays standards. The 16 valve design was revolutionary at the time. The ultimate Q car, it is great to pull up next to boy racers at the traffic lights and see the look on their face as you power away from them. |

Practicality
|
Four doors, good rear leg and headroom. |

Comfort
|
Nicely specced interior with good quality trim and seats, wooden dashboard and side caps to the doors make the car feel upmarket. |

Cost
|
Good MPG from a 2.0 engine and parts are readily available and cheap. |

The Dolomite Sprint is a brilliant car. The acceleration (0-60 in a little over 8 seconds) and power are second to none, and will, frankly leave a lot of modern day cars standing, even though it's pushing 30yrs old. |
